Everyone LOVED this coffee—especially the DARK—so it's back for a second time. It's Yemen, but with a catchy and sweeter flavor profile. (12 oz bag)
Light Roast: Sweet, mild, indulgent, and enigmatic. Yellow cake aroma as you open the bag. A shapeshifting coffee whose personality is hard to discern. Yemen, but with a new twist.
Medium Roast: Relaxing and indulgent, with non-stop mocha flavor. Yellow cake aroma as you open the bag.
(We also have a second Reserve Medium, the Rayyan Mill Blend Medium)
Dark Roast: Intensely smooth and creamy. An all-time customer favorite. Sometimes a coffee is so good, you just source more of the same exact thing. Don't mess with success, right? This bean is uniquely tailored to make an awesome dark roast.
Here's the Pearl of Tehama (our old school exporting partner) talking about the farmers they work with:
We feel that fields of coffee farmers are our own, and we are benefiting from every individual farmer’s effort in his field. They are not only a source of coffee beans, but also our mutual success. Therefore, we are trying to provide them with any possible assistance, either directly or indirectly.
Our Coffee trade company assists the coffee growing communities through many activities and projects. We help the needy people and distribute gifts during our community common festivals, provide material and technical assistance to farmers and give small interest-free loans to be recovered after harvesting. We are currently building a large nursery for the production of quality certified coffee. Upon completion, it will consist of ten 360m2 greenhouses.

We love both of these blends. We have ordered both the dark and medium blends. Honestly, we love every single coffee we have purchased from Al Mokha. I am always thankful that Anda is able to secure the best of the best Yemen coffee available and in doing so, is helping the Yemen farmers make a living to support their families! Humanity Matters! .
Dark roast pearls of Al Qafr is still my absolute favorite coffee, simultaneously having dark, bold, roasty flavors with some fruity notes without being sour or too bitter. So glad it's back, I need to stock up for the next year!
